Oral Cancer Screenings
Even if you aren’t subject to risk factors such as tobacco or alcohol use, there’s still a possibility you’ll develop oral cancer. Early detection makes a big difference. That’s why we combine visual and manual screening methods with the innovative technology of VELscope Enhanced Oral Assessment System. We check your mouth and tongue for signs of tissue abnormalities, and identify any cancerous or precancerous areas.
X-Rays
We get a great view of your mouth, thanks to our digital and panoramic x-rays. These high definition images give us an accurate representation of your jaw, bone structure, and tooth development, all while using very little radiation. This technology allows you to make educated decisions about your treatment.
Hygiene
There’s nothing like the remarkable feeling of a clean mouth. We make plaque and tartar buildup disappear with our professional cleanings. Our hygienists use Cavitron magnetostrictive and Piezo ultrasonic scalers to remove debris from your mouth gently and effectively. Periodontal Therapy
The key to eliminating adult tooth loss is early diagnosis of gum disease. Periodontal disease is the leading cause of adult tooth loss. In addition to traditional periodontal treatments, we use ARESTIN® to fight bacteria that cause gum disease. Fluoride Treatment
We offer fluoride treatments to adults and children at every visit. When applied topically to your teeth, fluoride replenishes minerals to strengthen enamel and helps prevent decay. Fluoride treatments also decrease sensitivity in the teeth, making it less painful to eat or drink hot or cold items.
Mouthguards
Patients who grind their teeth at night will find comfort in our customized nightguards, which prevent damage to the teeth and lessen jaw discomfort. Our mouthguards are also perfect for athletes, as wearing a custom-fitted guard can protect teeth from injury during activity.
Anesthesia
We want you to be comfortable every time you visit. That’s why we offer nitrous oxide to any of our patients who are nervous about a specific procedure. We’ll help you relax. Nitrous oxide wears off quickly, so you can get back to your day without feeling any long lasting effects.
